VICTORIAN SEANCE BREAK

This Halloween, you are warmly invited to join our Paranormal Team for an exclusive evening at Bodmin Jail.

The Victorian Séance Break includes overnight luxury accommodation for two people in a king or twin room, two-course Dinner in The Courtyard Bistro, complimentary wi-fi and parking, as well as the exclusive séance evening in Bodmin Jail.

Your evening will commence with a greeting of Victorian Cocktails (and Mocktails) in the Quartermaster’s store before you are whisked away on our spirited tour of the building as you learn all about the ghostly apparitions and dark history of the prison. Victorian Spiritualism’s heritage and hysteria is then explored in the Dark Walk, the original foundations of the Georgian jail, before the evening arrives at its crescendo.

At midnight – when the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest – you will descend into the Jail’s Naval Wing for a Victorian séance led by an experienced Medium.

This will be a full Victorian séance following the traditions of the 1800s, the likes of which hasn’t been conducted on site for over a 150 years. The evening will then proceed with traditional spiritualist activities in the dark chambers of this historic building as you connect to the echoes of the past.
