You can check-in from 3 pm and check out by 11am, however, if you’d like a later checkout, please speak to our Front of House team on arrival.

You can also request early check-in and late checkouts at the reservations stage in the Personalise My Stay section. These are on a request basis and will be confirmed by our team via email.

Our reception is open 24/7 – whether you want some inspiration for your days out, directions or toiletries, our team are here to help.

You can enjoy breakfast in The Chapel everyday from 7.00am – 11.00am

We are a fully non-smoking hotel. Our Front Desk team can direct you to the Smoking Area outside the hotel.

We have a small fitness suite available which offers a running machine and a selection of weights, so you can keep up with your routine whilst on the move.

We have plenty of onsite parking spaces available on a first come, first served basis.

We do have two electric car charging points available on site.

There will be the following additional charges for an extra person - £75 per person for Bed and Breakfast. We only allow one extra person in a room. If you have two children you are required to book two rooms. If you are unsure, please contact the hotel directly.

There is a charge of £75 on Flexible rates for an early departure. For Advance Purchase and pre-paid rates, the deposit of the full stay is non-refundable.

Late departures need to be arranged the night before you are due to depart and are subject to availability. You can also request late departures when you make your booking through Personalise My Stay section. These are on a request basis and will be confirmed by our team. Any unadvised late departures attract the full charge of £50 charge.

Flexible Reservations Cancellations permitted up to 14 days prior to arrival and cancellations received within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee, equivalent to the full amount of the booking. Semi-Flexible Reservations A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at time of booking. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee equivalent to the full amount of the booking. Non-Refundable Reservations This reservation has a full prepayment, non-refundable policy. If you wish to cancel you will forfeit the full prepayment.

Absolutely! We love dogs at The Bodmin Jail Hotel. We welcome your four-legged canine family members to our selected doggie-friendly rooms, located on the ground floor within our classic, twin, family and accessible rooms. We do charge a nominal fee of £20 per night per dog. Unfortunately, we can only accept dogs up to medium sizes such as Labrador and Retriever.

Please note dogs are not allowed in The Chapel Restaurant. If you are unsure, please reach out to us by email or phone before booking. There are a selection of walks close by to the hotel or Cardinaham Woods is just a short car journey away. Find out more here.

Yes, we offer the Chapel menu for evening room service. There is currently no late night room service menu.

We have Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel.

We can think of nothing better than a great packed lunch at the beach, on Bodmin Moor or to take with you along the Camel Trail. We offer a selection of packed lunch options depending on whether you want some to suit the family, or something more romantic.

You can reserve packed lunches through the Personalise My Stay section when reserving your bedroom, or speak to our Front Desk Team at the hotel by 8 pm on the day before you need it.

Absolutely! You can purchase tickets from our Front Desk Team, however, we also offer a great ticket inclusive package. When you check your stay dates, if available, it will be displayed.

Tickets purchased from the Front Desk should be requested either on arrival or the day before you want to access the Visitor Attraction, as we need to reserve entry times.
