After a two-year hiatus the Charlestown Regatta returns this year, between the 23-29 July. There is plenty going on with a carnival, a triathlon and culminating in a festival of live music on Friday July 29th. If more competitive sailing is what interests you then Sail GP, the world’s most competitive racing on water will return to Plymouth on July 30-31st.

Cornwall has some amazing festivals, including Board masters, which takes place in Newquay every August. This year the headliners include The Kings of Leon, Disclosure and George Ezra. Rock Oyster Festival | 29th-31st July
Rock Oyster Festival returns this year in our neighbouring village of Wadebridge. It’s so close that you can even cycle there along the Camel Valley Trail, which starts across the road from the hotel – and we can help arrange your transport, whether it’s on two wheels or four. Amazing headline acts include Laura Mvula, the legendary Happy Mondays and rock legends Passenger. While you enjoy the music, you can stay fuelled with quality food from a host of top chefs, including Emily Scott, Jack Stein and Gizzi Eskine. There will be famous restaurants popping up in the Chefs Tipis, along with demos and Masterclasses and long-table feats overlooking the Camel Estuary.

Padstow Christmas Festival | 1st-4th December 2022
The famous Christmas market returns this year, offering some of the best locally-produced food and drink the West Country has to offer. There will be a tempting selection of food to enjoy, including artisan breads and cakes, chocolate, meats and cheeses, to be washed down with award-winning craft beers and ciders and locally produced gins, rums, vodka and brandy.
